A San Antonio native, he has developed his skills as an innovator of food and culinary techniques at 2-star Michelin rated minibar by jose andres, Qui in Austin, and Hotel Emma. A true Texan, Chef Jorge brings true energy and passion for Texas foodways that will inspire and delight our diners.

Danny Parada

Corporate Chef

Chef Danny brings drive and passion to Isidore with 14 years of culinary experience. He first worked with the Emmer & Rye group when they opened their concept Emmer & Rye in Austin, Texas. To further develop his skills, Chef Danny spent a year in Sydney, Australia and then in Chicago's Alinea and Lula Cafe. For him, Isidore is not only a passion project, but incredibly personal. Within the decor, guests can spot his wife's pottery and his grandmother's personal china.

Ian Lanphear

Chef de Cuisine

Ian is passionate about creative. His love and passion for the outdoors are a source of inspiration for the creativity he brings to the dishes he creates. Prior to his role as chef de cuisine at Isidore, Ian developed his skills and style at Restaurant Gwendolyn and managing his own pop up at Naibor.

Riley McKinney

Executive Sous Chef

A graduate and valedictorian of the Culinary Institute of San Antonio, Chef Riley has honed her hospitality and culinary skills with the Emmer and Rye group. Her previous experience at Ladino and Scorpion have developed her skills in kitchen operations, planning and executing menu items.

Alicia Schmidt

Wine Director

Alicia is an Advanced Sommelier that curates the wine programs for Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group and Pullman Market. She is excited to showcase wines from around the world while higlighting the local Texas wine scene.

Carolyn Bugbee

General Manager

Carolyn Bugbee is a hospitality leader and creative storyteller with over a decade of experience in fine dining, guest experience, and restaurant operations. Her work blends thoughtful service, brand storytelling, and hospitality-first leadership to create meaningful experiences that connect people through food and atmosphere.

With experience spanning Michelin-recognized concepts and multi-state hospitality groups—from Los Angeles to New York and most recently Texas—Carolyn is passionate about sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and cultivating spaces where guests feel genuinely welcomed. Based in San Antonio, she continues to focus on building memorable experiences rooted in authenticity and care.
